Welcome Post!

 Hi there, we are Sezzy and Corinne, one of us is British and the other is American. We both moved to the Netherlands to study and ended up being housemates. 

After being moved by a families story and their need for money we decided to organise a fundraiser. The more we planned the more we decided we wanted to help other families too and so the Vrienden Fundraising Group was born. Vrienden in dutch means friends. As this group was set up in the Netherlands and its the place we met we felt it only fitting we pay homage to the Dutch language. We are a small organisation just starting out and want it to really feel like two friends helping out. 

Families to us are all different. We aim to fundraise for the every family who needs help with their unique situation.
