Our First Family!

Introducing our first family: Emilie Larter, Josh Wasiwa, and their four sweet kids Adam, George, Tallie, and James 

This family is the one who inspired this entire venture! I (Sezzy) have followed this family’s story from early on and have been so moved by their journey. I knew I wanted to do something to help if I could! 

Emilie went out to Uganda in 2014 and met her son, Adam, who was just 5 days old at the time. She made the decision to move to Uganda and pursue adoption of her son. During the process she met her partner, Josh, and they took in the other three kids (family members of Josh) and have been raising them for a couple of years. Emilie has now successfully adopted Adam and they have moved back to the UK in order to start the process of moving the rest of the family to the UK also.  This means that their family is currently separated until they can complete the adoption process of George, Tallie, and James and get the visas needed for them to move to the UK. This process is a costly one and will require £30,000. 

 

We will be running a number of fundraising events to help this family reach their goal and once again be reunited.
